Year 3 Boat Trip

Year 3 were invited on a free boat trip organised by the local charity, Birds of Poole Harbour. The aim of the charity is dedicated to boosting the profile of bird conservation, preservation, and observation in and around Poole Harbour.

The idea of the day was to encourage the school children to get a better awareness of their local environment.

Before the trip,  the children were given four areas to research: the birds of Poole, jobs in and around Poole Quay, habitats and ocean plastics. The children then had to create a small presentation, which they then shared with their peers on the trip.
