Sport Relief
As part of Sport Relief Week we decided to celebrate and fundraise as a school by organising for the pupils to experience some different sports and activities during their usual PE slot. Activities such as archery, skateboarding, tri-golf and ultimate Frisbee were on offer.
We also held an assembly to ensure that our children were aware of the reasons behind fundraising events like Sport Relief and what the donated money is used for (such as helping with issues such as mental health, child poverty, domestic abuse and helping people have a safe place to live).
As you can see from the photos, the children had a fantastic time and it was great to see lots of team work going on as the chidren helped each other to learn new skills such as skateboarding.
