CPTA
A very warm welcome from the Ocean Academy CPTA (Children, Parent and Teacher Association). We are a passionate and dedicated team who are proud to support our amazing school!
Everyone at Ocean Academy is automatically a member of the CPTA, including the children, parents and teachers. The CPTA works tirelessly to raise funds and provide positive experiences for all of our children at Ocean Academy. The children are an important addition to the PTA team, sharing their pride and love for the school, whilst having a voice in all aspects of school life.
The CPTA have been able to raise funds that have secured such purchases as:
- Electronic library system
- Brand new sports kits for Netball, Football and Athletics
- Picnic benches and parasols
- Google Chromebooks,
- Ipads
- New Music Equipment
- Academy Minibus was also purchased from the funds raised by the CPTA!
- Prizes for Poetry and Art competitions
- Crackers at Christmas
- Washing Machine to keep the kits clean
We are hugely grateful to everyone that supports our efforts, and warmly welcome people in any way they can offer support. We hold regular meetings where ideas can be shared and also have a helper bank, for those who like to offer support at particular events.
