World Maths Day

We celebrated World Maths Day today. Mrs Yates started the day off with a maths themed assembly and then our Ocean students explored various mathematical concepts, and discussed the importance of maths in everyday life.

Year 4 had great fun planning a World Maths Day party. To start with, they planned a maths focused game for their party. The children then made games and tested them out. After that, the children used their understanding of the four operations and money to budget food costs for their party.
