As you are aware, schools have been instructed to close to the majority of pupils on Friday afternoon (3.30pm for Ocean Academy) until further notice. However, schools are being asked to care for the children of key workers and vulnerable children as part of the country’s ongoing response to coronavirus. Aspirations Academies Trust have now sent us clarification as to who ‘key workers’ are and what they should do IF they require their children to continue to attend school throughout the closure.
Please read the letter below from the Principal about the provision for key workers.
